| چکیده | ||
| Cet article a pour objet d’étudier le Culte du Moi de Maurice Barrès (1862-1923) afin de mettre en valeur « l’identification » et « la découverte de soi » étant une mesure convenable pour distinguer le moi réel du moi irréel. Autrement dit, la trilogie de l’auteur français (Sous l’œil des Barbares, Un Homme libre et le Jardin de Bérénice) constitue le fondement d’une étude emblématique où les personnages du roman comme Philippe, Simon et Bérénice s’aident à argumenter que l’autonomie de l’esprit provient de la volonté subjective non pas de l’acte objectif. Ceci dit, Maurice Barrès s’efforce de justifier l’image d’un Moi narcissique dans la société française du XXème siècle où le nationalisme et le patriotisme exigent l’engagement moral lorsqu’il s’agit d’une quête introspective. Nous tenterons également de montrer la réflexion de Barrès à propos du Narcissisme et d’en extraire les motivations qui le rendent un écrivain purement novateur. | ||

| Analyzing the Themes of "Identification" and "Self-Exploration" in the Book "The Ritual of Self-Knowledge" by Mauric Barres. | ||

| In this article we aim to study the ritual of self-knowledge by Maurice Barres (1862- 1923) to be able to examine the themes of identification and self_ exploration as a suitable criterion to distinguish the real me from the unreal me. In other words, the French author's triology (Under the eyes of the Barbarians, A Freeman, and the Garden of Bernice) is the founder of symbolic studies of characters like Philip, Simone and Bernice help each other to argue that intellectual independence comes from objection action rather than subjective will. This means that Maurice Barres tries to justify "narcissist image" in the 20th century, where nationalism and patriotism require moral commitment. In fact, achieving this stage is realised in an introspective quest.Therefore, we will make an effort to manifest Maurice Barres's thought about narcissism and specify his motivation as an innovative author. | ||
