| چکیده | ||

| چکیده [العربیة] | ||
| This essay examines the personal myth in Michel Houellebecq's works through the lens of Charles Mauron's psychocritical approach, highlighting the unconscious patterns that shape his literary cosmos. The research indicates that the experience of mother abandonment, a profound wound that molds his worldview, has a major impact on his writing. As expressions of this myth, his poems frequently deal with existential loneliness, failed romantic relationships, a disillusioned sexual perspective, the fear of aging, and a disillusioned intellectual endeavor. His protagonists search for atoning love but eventually fall short; they are often trapped in a never-ending state of loneliness. The text argues that rather than being only a stylistic choice, the repetition of these patterns is an unconscious attempt at emotional healing. However, this quest for reconciliation remains incomplete and limits Houellebecq's writing to a repeating and negative pattern. Consequently, his work goes beyond its sociological and ideological components and primarily takes the form of an existential and introspective exploration where the author is both the author and the prisoner of his own story. | ||
